Pursuant to section 87Q(4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, sections 41(1) and 42 of the State Sector Act 1988, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 13 March 2019, and having received an application from Hainan Airlines Company Limited, I hereby give notice that I, Sonya Helen van de Geer, Principal Adviser – International Connections at the Ministry of Transport, have varied the Scheduled International Air Service Licence issued to that airline to permit it to operate a fourth weekly service between China and New Zealand.

The variation took effect on 7 October 2019.
