In the matter of the New Zealand Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal:
Pursuant to section 256 of the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act 2006 (“Act”), notice is hereby given that on 22 November 2017 the New Zealand Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal ordered, pursuant to section 242(1)(e) of the Act, that Peter James Morahan be suspended from practice as a barrister and solicitor, for a period of four months from 4 December 2017.
On 13 June 2019 the Court of Appeal formally issued a judgment which recorded the appeal against this order is dismissed and the suspension will commence on 1 July 2019.
