I hereby give notice that, under clause 39 of schedule 5 of the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 (as inserted by the Financial Services Legislation Amendment Act 2019), I have approved the Code of Professional Conduct for Financial Advice Services. All provisions of the Code will come into force on 1 June 2020 (but the obligation to comply with the Code does not arise until sections 431I and 431M of the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 come into force).
