In the matter of the New Zealand Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal:

Pursuant to section 256 of the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act 2006 (“Act”), notice is hereby given that, on 22 May 2018, the New Zealand Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal ordered, pursuant to section 242(1)(e) of the Act, that Ronald Bruce Johnson be suspended from practice as a barrister or as a solicitor, or as both, for a period of three months commencing 29 May 2018.

On 28 March 2019 the High Court issued a judgment which recorded the appeal was dismissed and confirmed the period of suspension shall commence on 1 May 2019 and end on 31 July 2019.
