Pursuant to section 11 of the District Court Act 2016, and section 5(1) of the Family Court Act 1980, Her Excellency the Governor-General, has been pleased to appoint

Dean Arthur Blair, barrister of Tauranga

as a District Court Judge, and also to exercise the jurisdiction of the Family Court, commencing on 23 August 2019.
