Notice of Application to Seek Approval of Scheme

Pursuant to the Charitable Trusts Act 1957

Notice is hereby given that K’AUTE PASIFIKA TRUST has made an application to the High Court at Hamilton for the approval of a scheme.

The applicants have commenced proceedings seeking approval pursuant to the Charitable Trusts Act 1957 of a scheme under which the Constitution will be amended and previous amendments will be ratified.

The date set down for the hearing of the application is 11 September 2019 at 9.00am at the High Court at Hamilton.

Any person desiring to oppose the application is required to give notice of their intention to do so to:

  1. the Registrar of the High Court at Hamilton;
  2. the applicant (whose address for service is Nielsen Law, Solicitors, Floor 3, Sentinel House, 586 Victoria Street, Hamilton (Attention: Amanda Stutt)); and
  3. the Attorney-General (whose address for service is at the Crown Law Office, Justice Centre, 19 Aitken Street, Wellington (Attention: Debra Harris)),

not less than seven clear days before the above-mentioned date for hearing.
