Pursuant to section 47(3) of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, the Director of Maritime New Zealand hereby notifies the granting of the following exemptions from the Maritime Rules on 30 November 2018:

• from all the Maritime Transport Operator Safety System requirements in Rules 19.3, 19.41, 19.42, 19.43, 19.45, 19.46, and 19.62
• from all the minimum qualifications requirements in Rule 31.80
• from all the design and construction survey requirements in Rule 40C.3 (as applicable).
