Pursuant to sections 96 and 98 of the Greater Christchurch Regeneration Act 2016, I, the Honourable Dr Megan Woods, Minister for Greater Christchurch Regeneration, on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette, vest the land owned by the Waimakariri District Council described in the First Schedule to this notice in the Crown and amalgamate that land with the fee simple land defined under the heading “Description” in the Second Schedule to this notice, and any estate or interest in, or any status, restriction, charge, or any other encumbrance that applies to any piece of land to be vested and amalgamated, except for those described in the Third Schedule to this notice, will be extinguished when the land vests in the Crown.
