Gazette.govt.nzPursuant to section 72 of the Iwi and Hapū of Te Rohe o Te Wairoa Claims Settlement Act 2018 (“Settlement Act 2018”), the New Zealand Geographic Board Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa (“Board”) hereby gives notice of an altered official Crown protected area name, as described in the Schedule below.
The official Crown protected area name took effect on 12 November 2018, being the settlement date specified in the Settlement Act 2018.
Pursuant to section 73 of the Settlement Act 2018, the Board may in the future agree to alter the official geographic name listed in the Schedule with the written consent of the trustees of Tātau Tātau o Te Wairoa Trust.
