Gazette.govt.nzPursuant to section 121(4)(a) and (b) of the Affiliate Te Arawa Iwi and Hapu Claims Settlement Act 2008 (“Act”), the Minister of Conservation hereby notifies that the areas described in the Schedule have been set aside as esplanade reserve under the Reserves Act 1977 and that the Rotorua District Council is the administering body of the reserve for the purposes of that Act by section 121(2) of the Act.
Pursuant to section 121(4)(c) and (d) of the Act, the Minister hereby notifies that the areas described in the Schedule are further declared to be a specially classified reserve and subject to the same protection principles contained in New Zealand Gazette, 2 May 2018, Notice No. 2018-ln2054.
