Social Workers Registration Board (Fees and Disciplinary Levy) Notice 2018
Pursuant to sections 108 and 109 of the Social Workers Registration Act 2003, the Social Workers Registration Board sets out the fees prescribed by the Social Workers Registration Board. This notice replaces all previous Social Workers Registration Board notices.
Title and commencement—This notice may be cited as the Social Workers Registration Board (Fees and Disciplinary Levy) Notice 2018 and shall come into force 28 days after the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
Fees and levy—The Social Workers Registration Board prescribes the fees and disciplinary levy payable to the Board specified in the Schedule to this notice.
Tax—The fees are in New Zealand Dollars and are inclusive of goods and services tax (GST).

1. Incomplete applications lapse 6 months after receipt by the SWRB of the online application form.
2. Exemption — Applicants who apply for registration during any practising certificate year (1 July to 30 June) will be exempt in that year from fees for the issue of a practising certificate.
3. The fees payable for additional visits or concurrent programme approvals will be an amount sufficient to reimburse the Board for all costs and expenses reasonably incurred for the purpose of assessing and evaluating the educational institution and its degree programme relating to social work.
