Pursuant to regulation 3(1)(b) of the Resource Management (National Environmental Standards for Air Quality) Regulations 2004, the Associate Minister for the Environment, makes the following notice.

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Bay of Plenty Regional Airshed Notice 2018.

(2) This notice comes into force 28 days from the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Airshed established—(1) The area described in the Schedule is a separate airshed for the Bay of Plenty region as specified by the Associate Minister for the purposes of the Resource Management (National Environmental Standards for Air Quality) Regulations 2004.

(2) Any areas within the Bay of Plenty region which are not covered by the separate airshed described in this notice form a single airshed for that region.

3. Revocation—The Bay of Plenty Regional Airshed Notice 2005, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 25 August 2005, No. 141, page 3429, is revoked.
