Pursuant to section 72 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Tim King, hereby terminate the state of local emergency declared at 7.20pm on Tuesday 20 February 2018 for the Nelson Tasman Civil Defence Emergency Management Group owing to the adverse effects of Cyclone Gita.

The termination of the state of local emergency takes effect immediately on the making of this declaration.
