Pursuant to sections 11 and 14 of the District Court Act 2016, Her Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has been pleased to appoint

Sanjay Patel and Soana Moala, acting District Court Judges,

each to be a District Court Judge, and to conduct jury trials pursuant to section 354(3) of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011, commencing on 1 January 2019.
