Under section 78M(6) of the Education Act 1989, the notice (as published in the New Zealand Gazette, 7 September 2017, Issue No. 90, Notice No. 2017-go4521) and amended by New Zealand Gazette, 18 December 2017, Notice No. 2017-go6633 published in the New Zealand Gazette, 18 December 2017) directing the Secretary for Education to appoint a limited statutory manager for the Te Wharekura o Maniapoto Board of Trustees is further amended by replacing all of clause 1 of the notice with the following:

“1. The following functions, powers and duties of the board are to be vested in a limited statutory manager:

a. All functions, powers and duties of the board as an employer (whether statutory or otherwise); and

b. all functions, powers and duties of the board in curriculum management including teaching and assessment practice (whether statutory or otherwise).”

This notice takes effect on the date of publication.
