Notice of the Making of Rules Under Section 421(1) of the Customs and Excise Act 2018
Pursuant to section 421(4) of the Customs and Excise Act 2018, notice is hereby given of the making of the following Chief Executive’s Rules, which shall come into force on 1 October 2018:
Customs (Applications for Registered User System Registration) Rules 2018 (CR 2018/RUS1)
Customs (Arriving Passenger and Crew Declarations) Rules 2018 (CR 2018/ARR1)
Copies of these rules are available for inspection on the Customs Service website at
or at any of the following Customs offices:
Auckland – The Customhouse, 50 Anzac Avenue, Auckland City
Christchurch – The Customhouse, 6 Orchard Road, Christchurch Airport
Dunedin – The Customhouse, 32 Portsmouth Drive
