Pursuant to section 11 of the District Court Act 2016 and section 5(1) of the Family Court Act 1980, Her Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand, has been pleased to appoint

Alan Paul Goodwin, Acting District Court Judge

to be a District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand and to exercise the jurisdiction of the Family Court, commencing on 18 August 2018.
