Pursuant to section 29 of the Building Act 2004 (“Act”), I give notice that the following Acceptable Solutions and Verification Methods are proposed to be amended:

• B1 Structure: B1/VM1
• B2 Durability: B2/AS1
• E2 External moisture: E2/VM1, E2/AS1
• G12 Water supplies: G12/VM1, G12/AS1, G12/AS2
• G13 Foul water: G13/AS1, G13/VM2, G13/AS2, G13/AS3

Acceptable Solution Proposed to be Revoked

Pursuant to section 29 of the Act, I give notice that the Simple House Acceptable Solution, SH/AS1, is proposed to be revoked and to cease having legal effect:

New Material Proposed to be Incorporated by Reference

Pursuant to section 409(2) of the Act, I give notice that the following materials are proposed to be incorporated by reference into:

Verification Method B1/VM1
AS/NZS 2327: 2017
SNZ TS 3404: 2018

Acceptable Solution B2/AS1
SNZ TS 3404: 2018

Amendment to Material Incorporated by Reference

Pursuant to section 409(2) of the Act, I give notice that I propose to adopt an amendment to the material incorporated by reference into the following Acceptable Solutions and Verification Methods. The material incorporated by reference in column 1 of the table below, is proposed to be replaced by the amended material in column 2:

The statement of proposal is also available from the Wellington office of the Ministry at 15 Stout Street, Wellington, between the hours of 8.30am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

The material incorporated by reference described above may be purchased directly from Standards New Zealand, MBIE, 15 Stout Street, Wellington 6011, or online at: www.standards.govt.nz.

Hard copies of standards are not kept in stock for sale but may be ordered by following the directions online or by visiting MBIE’s Wellington office.

Viewing Material Incorporated by Reference

Material incorporated by reference is available for inspection free of charge at MBIE’s Wellington office, between the hours of 8.30am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
