Notice of Intention to Incorporate Material by Reference Into One or More Instruments Made Under the Climate Change Response Act 2002 (Notice No. MPI 893)

Emily Geck, Acting Manager Land Management Analysis for the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI), on behalf of the Director-General of MPI, gives notice under section 51 of the Legislation Act 2012 (“Act”) that, under section 49 of the Act, some or all of the following material, in whole or in part, is proposed for incorporation by reference, in one or more instruments made under the Climate Change Response Act 2002:

  • Geospatial Mapping Information Standard, Emissions Trading Scheme (Forestry), which sets out how a participant will comply with the requirement to include the spatial extent of the area of land determined in accordance with the method and format specified, in any application, notice or emissions return to that is submitted.

  1. where comments on this proposal to incorporate material by reference are to be sent; and
  2. where the material to be incorporated can be viewed free of charge on the MPI website (http://mpi.govt.nz/dmsdocument/4756/loggedIn) or in person at

Ministry for Primary Industries, Land Management Analysis, 25 The Terrace, Wellington 6140.

Any written comment must be received by the Ministry for Primary Industries no later than 10 working days after the date of notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Consultation on this proposal to incorporate material by reference is in addition to the usual process for consultation on any instrument under the Climate Change Response Act 2002.
