Pursuant to section 101D(3) of the Education Act 1989 and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I hereby extend the period for selecting the returning officer, closing the main roll and all subsequent actions in accordance with the Education (School Trustee Elections) Regulations 2000 for the by-election of parent representatives for Sandspit Road School (1479).

The elections must be held by 14 September 2018.

This notice takes effect the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
