Pursuant to section 31 of the District Court Act 2016 and section 7 of the Family Court Act 1980 Her Excellency the Governor-General is pleased to appoint:

John James Dashwood Strettell, retired District Court Judge

to be an Acting District Court Judge, and also to exercise the jurisdiction of the Family Court for a term of one year commencing on 6 October 2018.
