Pursuant to section 72 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Garry Howard, terminate the state of local emergency declared on Tuesday 20 February 2018 at 3.53pm for Buller District owing to police advice of risk to life in Granity households and district.

The termination of the state of local emergency takes effect immediately on the making of this declaration.
