Pursuant to section 47(3) of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, the Director of Maritime New Zealand hereby notifies the granting of the following exemptions from the Maritime Rules on 12 October 2018, 23 October 2018, and 13 November 2018:

• from all the Maritime Transport Operator Safety System requirements in accordance with Rules 19.3, 19.41, 19.42, 19.43, 19.45, 19.46, and 19.62
• from all the minimum crewing requirements in accordance with Rule 31.84(2)
• from all the requirements to hold certain certificates and associated endorsements in accordance with Rule 32.10
• from all the design and survey construction requirements in accordance with Rule 40C.3 (as applicable)
