Pursuant to section 47(3) of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, the Director of Maritime New Zealand hereby notifies the granting of the following exemptions from the Maritime Rules on 3 August 2018, 14 August 2018, and 25 September 2018:

• from all the Maritime Transport Operator Safety System requirements in accordance with Rules 19.3, 19.41, 19.42, 19.43, 19.45, 19.46, and 19.62
• from all the manning and minimum qualifications requirements in accordance with Rule 31.84(2)
• from all the requirements to hold certain certificates and associated endorsements in accordance with Rule 32.10
• from all the design and survey construction requirements in accordance with Rule 40C.3
