On 11 September 2018, under section 94F(1)(a) of the Telecommunications Act 2001, the Commerce Commission (“Commission”) released a draft TSO cost calculation determination (“draft determination”). The draft determination sets out the amount payable by the Crown to Sprint International New Zealand for providing telecommunications relay services for the hearing impaired and speech impaired between 1 July 2017 and 30 June 2018.

The closing date for submissions on the draft determination is 18 September 2018 at 5.00pm.
