Pursuant to section 45 of the Takeovers Act 1993, the Takeovers Panel on 13 August 2018, granted the exemption contained in the Takeovers Code (Smith & Caughey Holdings Limited) Exemption Notice 2018.

The exemption takes effect on Tuesday 28 August 2018.
