On 8 August 2018, the Electoral Commission determined under Part 4 of the Electoral Act 1993 to change the party name of the Conservative Party of New Zealand to

New Conservative.

On 8 August 2018, the Electoral Commission also determined under Part 4 of the Electoral Act 1993 to register a substitute party logo for the New Conservative party.

The registered party logo can be viewed at www.elections.org.nz.
