Pursuant to section 47(3) of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, the Director of Maritime New Zealand hereby notifies the granting of the following exemption on 12 September 2017:

• 1 from Maritime Rule 32.110, Table 26, item 4: Sea service – Seafarer Certification – STCW Certificates and prescribed endorsements – Master yacht less than 500GT – Completes approved sea service while holding a current certificate as Chief mate yacht, or equivalent.
