Pursuant to section 134(1) of the Electoral Act 1993, I, David Cunningham Carter, Speaker of the House of Representatives, give notice that Jacinda Ardern has resigned her seat in the House of Representatives effective at the close of Tuesday 14 March 2017, and that the seat is vacant by reason of that resignation.
