Pursuant to section 338(1)(a) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the general land described in the Schedule is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a village site for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Piwa Tuaupiki, and is to be known as Piwa Tohi Awhina Reservation.
