Notice of Intention to Take Land for University Teaching and Research Purposes—55 Park Road, Grafton, Auckland
Notice is hereby given that the University of Auckland, under the provisions of section 23 of the Public Works Act 1981, proposes to take the land (“land”) described in the Schedule to this notice for university teaching and research purposes.
The land is required for university teaching and research purposes and it is intended to use the property of which the land is part for the purposes of the construction and use of a university teaching and research building.
The reasons why the University of Auckland considers it reasonably necessary to take the land is as follows:
The owners of the land and those persons with an interest in it have been served with notice of the University of Auckland’s intention to take the land and have been advised of their right to object.
Any other person having the right to object may send a written objection to the Registrar, Environment Court, Tribunals Division, Department of Courts, PO Box 7147, Wellesley Street, Auckland 1141, within 20 working days after the date of publication of this notice.
If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing will be held with the right of the objector to appear and be heard personally, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be informed of the time and place of the hearing.

The lock-up shop and adjoining ground floor flat situated at 55 Park Road, Grafton, Auckland, that is subject to a Deed of Lease dated 1 March 2014, being Unit A DP 171558 contained in Computer Unit Title Register NA104D/609.
