Pursuant to section 338(1) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the schedule is set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of keeping the land in its natural state for current owners and future generations, as a meeting place, for kai gathering and for cultural and educational purposes. The Māori Reservation shall be held for the benefit of the beneficial owners and their descendants and will be known as Te Maipi 7C No. 7C and Te Maipi No. 7C No. 2 Māori reservation.
