Pursuant to section 24(1) of the Building Act 2004 (“Act”), I give notice of an amendment to the Verification Method for Building Code clauses C1–C6 Protection from fire, C/VM2. The amended version of C/VM2 (i.e. Amendment 5) comes into force on 24 November 2017. The preceding version (i.e. Amendment 4) continues to be in force until 23 November 2017.

The Verification Method is available for download free of charge from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment’s website www.building.govt.nz/building-code-compliance.
