Notice is hereby given of the making of an order amending the Tariff of New Zealand, pursuant to section 9 of the Tariff Act 1988, to reflect the tariff treatment for the class of goods described as “Goods Re-entered after Repair or Alteration” agreed under the Free Trade Agreement between New Zealand and the Republic of Korea.

1. Title of order—The order is the Tariff (Korea – New Zealand Free Trade Agreement Concession) Amendment Order 2017.

2. Commencement—The order will come into force on 1 October 2017.

3. Effect of order—This order amends Part II of the Tariff. The amendment will grant duty-free tariff treatment, through a tariff concession under Part II, for the class of goods described as “Goods Re-entered after Repair or Alteration” pursuant to Article 2.6 of the Free Trade Agreement between New Zealand and the Republic of Korea.
