Pursuant to section 94B of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Lianne Audrey Dalziel, give notice of a local transition period over the Christchurch City Council district owing to flooding throughout Christchurch and Banks Peninsula.

The transition period:

1. comes into force at 4.00pm on Tuesday 25 July 2017, which is the time and date when:
   1. this notice is given; and
   2. the state of emergency declared at 10.50am on 22 July 2017 for Christchurch City is terminated;
2. is in force for 28 days; and
3. ends at 4.00pm on 22 August 2017, unless extended or terminated earlier.
