Pursuant to section 72 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Lianne Audrey Dalziel, terminate the state of local emergency declared at 10.50am on Saturday 22 July 2017 for the Christchurch City Council district owing to flooding throughout Christchurch and Banks Peninsula.

The termination of the state of local emergency takes effect from 4.00pm on Tuesday 25 July 2017.
