Pursuant to section 72 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Nicole Cherie Reid, terminate the state of local emergency declared at Selwyn District on Saturday 22 July 2017 at 11.00am owing to flooding.

The termination of the state of local emergency takes effect immediately on the making of this declaration.
