Publication of bankruptcy adjudications and of debtors admitted to a No Asset Procedure changed in December 2018. From that time the Insolvency and Trustee Service has published all adjudications in the New Zealand Gazette by providing a link from the Gazette website to the Insolvency Register.

Notice of Application for an Order of Early Discharge of Bankruptcy

This document notifies you that, pursuant to Rule 24.37(b) of the High Court Rules 2008:

  1. On 18 May 2017 at 10.00am, an application by Wardle, Bernard Keith (“applicant”) for early discharge of bankruptcy will be heard by the High Court at Christchurch. Its reference number is CIV-2008-404-2840 and is made pursuant to section 294 of the Insolvency Act 2006.
  2. A creditor who wants to oppose the application must comply with section 297(1) of the Insolvency Act 2006 and must file and serve notice of that intended opposition on the Official Assignee and the applicant not less than five working days before the applicant’s application for discharge.
  3. The application, affidavit in support and Official Assignee’s report, filed under section 296 of the Insolvency Act 2006, may be inspected at the registry of the High Court at Christchurch, or at the applicant’s address for service.
