Pursuant to section 61(3) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989 and the Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2003, the NZ Transport Agency hereby makes the following bylaw.

Bylaw

1. Title and commencement—This bylaw may be cited as the New Zealand Transport Agency (Speed Limits on State Highways) Amendment Bylaw 2017/11 and will come into force on and from 26 May 2017.

2. Amendment—The New Zealand Transport Agency (Speed Limits on State Highways) Bylaw 2010/10* is hereby amended by:

• Amending line 856 in Schedule 1 to read:
  “Line No.: 856
  Region: 11
  SH No.: 73
  Locality: West Melton
  Section of State Highway: From 500m east of Weedons Ross Road to 470m west of Weedons Ross Road.
  Speed Limit (km/h): 70
  New Zealand Gazette Reference: 18/5/2017, No. 52, Notice No. 2017-au2442.”
• Amending line 887 in Schedule 1 to read:
  “Line No.: 887
  Region: 11
  SH No.: 75
  Locality: Tai Tapu
  Section of State Highway: From 205m north of Old Tai Tapu Road to 80m south of Michaels Road.
  Speed Limit (km/h): 50
  New Zealand Gazette Reference: 18/5/2017, No. 52, Notice No. 2017-au2442.”
• Amending line 1036 in Schedule 1 to read:
  “Line No.: 1036
  Region: 13
  SH No.: 6
  Locality: Frankton
  Section of State Highway: From 226m east of Stalker Road to 470m east of Frankton Road.
  Speed Limit (km/h): 80
  New Zealand Gazette Reference: 18/5/2017, No. 52, Notice No. 2017-au2442.”

3. Authority to make bylaw—This bylaw was made by the Group Manager, Highways and Network Operations, under delegated authority of the NZ Transport Agency.
