Pursuant to section 47(3) of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, the Director of Maritime New Zealand hereby notifies the granting, on 1 December 2016, of the following exemption:

• From the requirements in Maritime Rule 32.62(2)(c) for skipper restricted limits endorsed to 500GT, and Maritime Rule 32.67(5)(c) for specified activity endorsement, to pass any assessments that the director may require for these endorsements.
