Pursuant to Maritime Rule Part 91.22(1)(c), I, Keith Manch, Director of Maritime New Zealand, hereby revoke “The Water Recreation (Lake Kaniere) Notice 1988”, as published in the New Zealand Gazette, 24 November 1988, No. 201, page 5041, which creates access lanes for no specified purpose at Hans Bay and Sunny Bight.

Following this revocation, the navigation safety requirements for Lake Kaniere and applicable speed limits for the whole lake are as prescribed in Maritime Rules Part 91.
