Pursuant to section 7(2) and clause 2 of Schedule 3 of the Public Audit Act 2001, Her Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has been pleased to appoint

Martin Thomas Harold Matthews

as the Controller and Auditor-General for a term of seven years commencing on 1 February 2017.
