Pursuant to section 129(1) of the Electoral Act 1993, I, David Cunningham Carter, Speaker of the House of Representatives, give notice that Philip Bruce Goff has resigned his seat in the House of Representatives for the Mt Roskill Electoral District with effect from 9.30am on Wednesday, 12 October 2016, and that the seat is vacant by reason of that resignation.
