Under section 16(2A) of the Reserves Act 1977, and a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Christchurch City Council (formerly known as the Waimairi County Council by Local Government (Canterbury Region) Reorganisation Order 1989, New Zealand Gazette, 13 June 1989, No. 99, page 2296), pursuant to a resolution dated 27 September 1989, hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto as a recreation reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977.
