Notice of Discontinued Official Geographic Names
Pursuant to sections 10(1)(d), 21(2), and 24 of the New Zealand Geographic Board (Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa) Act 2008, the New Zealand Geographic Board Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa (“Board”) hereby gives notice of discontinued official geographic names, as described in the Schedule below.
These discontinued official geographic names relate to geographic features that no longer exist and therefore should not be official geographic names.
The Board’s final determinations on these discontinued official geographic names took effect on 30 June 2016.
