Pursuant to sections 41(1) and 42 of the State Sector Act 1988, section 87N(4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 28 November 2016, I hereby give notice that the General Manager, Aviation and Maritime, Ministry of Transport, has granted Hainan Airlines Company Limited a Scheduled International Air Service Licence permitting the airline to perform scheduled air services between China and New Zealand.

The licence took effect on 12 December 2016.
