Pursuant to section 160(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, I, Gina Tiare Butson, Senior Solicitor, give notice that on or about 30 June 2014 the Honourable Simon William English, Minister of Finance, and the Honourable Nathan Guy, Minister for Primary Industries, gave approval under section 160(1)(b) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, in relation to section 163 of that Act, for Crown Irrigation Investments Limited (CIIL) to provide indemnities to ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited (ANZ) in relation to the performance by ANZ of its role as security trustee on behalf of CIIL and other secured lenders to Central Plains Water Limited in connection with the financing of a community irrigation scheme in the central plains of Canterbury.
