The Gambling Act (Casino Gambling Equipment) Minimum Standard 2004 has been amended pursuant to section 327 of the Gambling Act 2003.

The amendments include:

• prescription of the Australian/New Zealand Gaming Machine National Standard 2016;
• prescription of the New Zealand Casino Gaming Machine Appendix to the Australian/New Zealand Gaming Machine National Standard 2016; and
• consequential amendments to the Minimum Technical Requirements for Linked Jackpot Systems.

These amendments will take effect on 5 December 2016.
