Notice is hereby given of the making, pursuant to section 78 of the Customs and Excise Act 1996, of an order amending the Excise and Excise-equivalent Duties Table.

Notice

1. Title of order—This order is the Excise and Excise-equivalent Duties Table (Harmonised System) Amendment Order 2016.

2. Commencement—The order will come into force on 1 January 2017.

3. Effect of order—This order will amend the Excise and Excise-equivalent Duties Table (the Table) to reflect the changes made to the Table as a consequence of the restructuring of the Tariff under the Harmonised Commodity Description and Coding System.

4. Availability—A copy of the order can be viewed at the New Zealand Customs Service website
