Notice of Initiation: Review of Anti-dumping Duty on Imports of Preserved Peaches From Spain

Pursuant to section 14(8) of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988, and acting under delegated authority from the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, I have initiated a review of the imposition of anti-dumping duties on the goods described in the Schedule to this notice (“goods”). This initiation follows the receipt of an application made by the New Zealand industry providing positive evidence justifying the need for a review.

Final anti-dumping duties were imposed on the goods following a determination made in August 2011, and were due to lapse on 4 August 2016 unless the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment initiated a review of the continued need for these duties.
